I suppose that’s because I’ve always seen myself as one.

I didn’t have the best start in life, and for too long, I played it safe. I stayed in my corporate job as a Chartered Accountant, using my salary to build a property portfolio as a pension, thinking that was the “smart” route.

But playing it safe doesn’t always mean playing it right

My wake-up call came when I stepped into the world of short lease flats.

One of my first deals should have been a win, but instead, it became a defining moment.

I sat across from a freeholder who was laughing at me—not just behind my back, but to my face.

He told me outright that he had ripped me off.

I had overpaid for a lease extension, and if I had pushed harder, I could have purchased the freehold for nearly the same price.

That moment burned. But it also ignited something in me

attending events and courses—including the Landmark Forum, where I finally understood something that changed everything: life has no meaning except the meaning we give it. I had been giving my past experiences the wrong meaning.

I wasn’t a victim of that freeholder—I was a student of that lesson. That shift in mindset gave me unstoppable momentum.

Combining my background in property tax, interior design, and deal structuring, I developed a unique approach that freeholders didn’t
